Omar Khadr needs our help

Omar Khadr's story has been on many newspapers headlines all over Canada. He was detained in Afghanistan by US Marines when he was 15 years old, and have spent the past 7 years in the Guantanamo Bay detention centre.

Omar is a Canadian citizen, but he hasn't received any support from our government which makes me wonder about our foreign policies when it comes to getting detained outside of our boarders. If I travel anywhere in the world, and I get into a situation like that of Omar's, I will be expecting the government of Canada to help me in which ever way I need their help.

Here is a short video that will help explain the situation Omar is facing, please watch and comment on what you think about what the Canadian government has done for our fellow Canadian so far.
